Unlike many other airlines, TAP Air Portugal does not charge extra fees to assign these seats. The only downside to the "throne" seats is that they have small footwells. Airbus A321-200LR planes flying long-haul routes feature similar seats as the retrofitted A330-200, with rows alternating between 2-2 and 1-1 seats with the same specifications.

We received the confirmation. We then called to add an in-cabin pet and were informed that our ticket was actually not approved.

Nothing good about tap air. Terribly small and uncomfortable seats, least leg room of any plane I've flown on. I even paid for an emergency exit seat and didn't get given one. 3 of 4 Tap Air flights on our holiday were delayed. Just generally the sh*ttest airline I've ever flown on, even RyanAir is better. No neighbor, space galore and two greatly positioned windows all to myself. The small, 16-seat business-class cabin comprised five rows. Odd rows were in a 2-2 configuration, and even rows were in the coveted 1-1 formation -- arguably one of the best in the sky. Storage was significantly less in the 2-2 rows.

My flight in Lisbon was cancelled twice (16H35 then 19H35). i ended up flying at 3am the next day, so had 17H connection time.. At 1am when i came back to the aiport, there was no TAP staff to help travellers check in.
